07/28/2008 - On July 28, the U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna, Ambassador Greg Schulte, visited Athens for consultations on Iran and its nuclear ambitions. “The goal of the United States, a goal we share with Greece, is to reach a diplomatic settlement,” he told officials, academics, and journalists.

NSA Souda Bay Helps Fight Wildfires on Crete
07/23/2008 - On July 23, the U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) responded to a request for assistance from local authorities and dispatched 21 firefighters and 5 emergency vehicles along with two Seabees and other personnel to help fight fires near the airport in Chania, Crete.
University of California Davis Initiates Exchange with University of Athens
