US Embassy Support for Greeks Affected by Fire
Athens - The U.S. Embassy extends its sympathies for the damages caused by the wildfires near Athens this past weekend and to the families who have suffered as a result.
To assist in the fire- fighting efforts the Embassy offered a team from Souda Bay, consisting of fire fighting personnel, one water cannon truck with a 3,000 gallon tank, a command and control vehicle, and a fire engine.
