Embassy Supports the Greek Premiere of "There Will Be Blood" to Benefit Cerebral Palsy Greece
On Thursday, February 14, Ambassador Speckhard and his family attended the premiere of the critically acclaimed and award-winning American film “There Will Be Blood” for the benefit of the Cerebral Palsy Greece. The film’s director, Paul Thomas Anderson, and star, Oscar-winner Daniel Day Lewis, were present at the premiere and answered audience questions following the screening. The sold-out event was held under the auspices of the Embassy, which was noted on the invitation and during the speech by Cerebral Palsy Greece chairwoman, Vicky Antonopoulos.
Daniel Day Lewis won Best Actor 2008 Oscar for his role.
