Eurocharity Honors Fire Assistance Efforts
At a panel discussion on July 9, Ambassador Speckhard congratulated Greek government, private sector, and NGO efforts to fight the catastrophic fires of 2007, also highlighting U.S. government and private sector support. Eurocharity, a corporate social responsibility advising group, held the event to mark the release of its first album dedicated to such projects, entitled “The Spirit of the Forest.” Member of Parliament Spyros Kouvelis also spoke alongside academics, NGO and business leaders, and local government officials.
