We receive many general inquiries regarding the IV process.  This website – along with the links to other relevant sites – is intended to answer most general questions about IV processing.  Therefore, if your inquiry is not about a specific, already-pending IV case, it may take several days to receive a response since our priority is to respond to pending applicants and beneficiaries.
If you currently have an IV case pending, you may e-mail us at athensconsul@state.gov. Include the following in your inquiry:

1. Case Number
2. Name of Beneficiary
3. Date of Birth and Place of Birth of Beneficiary
4. Name of Petitioner
